Faith is Trust A Letter to Elder Hawley 7/30/18

Hey Elder!

Wow...are the weeks flying by or what??? We have been super busy with work stuff, church stuff, and house stuff haha. Malia's birthday was on July 28. We cannot believe she is 14!!! She remembered when you left she was 11 and turning 12 in two days. That seems so unreal.

We had a good sacrament meeting. The YW talked about girls camp and sang a song. Malia's talk was really good. We also had a Ward Walk About which was fun and a great success. It was an opportunity to walk around the ward and get to know each other more. We stopped at three houses and had treats.

Mosiah 18:8 "And it came to pass that he said unto them: Behold, here are the waters of Mormon (for thus were they called ) and now, as ye are desirous to come into the fold of God, and to be called his people, and are willing to bear one another's burdens, that they may be light."

Faith is trust, trust that God sees what we cannot and that He knows what we do not.
~Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Hang in there. Keep working hard. We think about you constantly. As excited as we are to have you home, we know how hard it will be for you to leave. We wish we could be there to thank and hug everyone from us!!! We wish we could meet everyone, maybe some day!

We love you a TON!

Your Family
